Baked Pasta Puttanesca


1 pkg. Namaste Foods Pasta Pisavera Dinner
1-14 oz. can diced tomatoes
1-15 oz. can tomato sauce plus 1 can of water
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
2 cloves chopped garlic
1 Tbsp. anchovy paste
2 Tbsp. capers
1/2 cup kalamata olives, cut in half the long way
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper (optional)


  1. Preheat oven to 350 ° F. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Transfer to a 9x13 pan, cover tightly with foil. Bake for 35-40 minutes until pasta in cooked through. Remove from oven, uncover and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.


  • Don't be afraid of using anchovy paste. It lends a rich flavor to the sauce but does not taste one bit fishy. If you don't use anchovy paste, you may need to add a little salt into the mixture before baking.
