Beef & Mushroom Skillet

Quick & Easy!


1 package Namaste Foods Pasta Pisavera Dinner
½ tsp allspice (to taste)
1 Tbsp sugar
1 lb. ground beef
1-15 oz. can chopped tomatoes, undrained
1 small onion, chopped
1-4 oz can sliced mushrooms (or about 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms)
2 Tbsp olive oil


  1. Cook the pasta according to the package directions. Drain, rinse with cool water and set aside.
  2. While pasta is cooking, saute onion (and fresh mushrooms if using) in a large skillet with olive oil for a minute or two. Add ground beef, allspice, pasta seasoning packet (to taste) and salt and pepper. Cook until beef is cooked through. Drain excess grease. Add tomatoes (and canned mushrooms if using) and let simmer.
  3. Add pasta and heat through.


  • Serve as is or garnished with chopped green onion and dollop of sour cream or plain yogurt.
