Cauliflower Pasta Pisavera


1 package Namaste Foods Pasta Pisavera Dinner
1-14 oz. can diced tomatoes, undrained
5 oz. can tomato sauce
10 oz. package frozen cauliflower, thawed and drained
1 bay leaf
2 Tbsp. olive oil
2-3 cloves garlic, chopped
1 small onion, finely chopped
2-3 Tbsp. chopped fresh oregano or parsley
½ cup sliced black olives


  1. Cook the pasta according to the package directions. Drain, rinse in cool water and set aside.
  2. While pasta is cooking, saute onion, garlic and olive oil in small saute pan until onions are translucent; 6-8 minutes. Combine tomatoes, bay leaf and tomato sauce in large sauce pan. Add sauteed mixture. Let simmer about 10 minutes. Add cauliflower, heat thoroughly.
  3. Add oregano and black olives just before serving. Top hot pasta with sauce and parmesan cheese if desired.


  • For a little extra protein, add 1 can drained tuna or 1 cup chopped, cooked chicken or turkey.
