Cheese & Garlic Biscuits

Makes 9


2 cups Namaste Foods Organic All Purpose Baking Mix
3/4 cup milk, any kind
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, divided
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
2 tablespoons butter, melted
2 tablespoons finely chopped Italian parsley (optional) for garnish


  1. Preheat oven to 450°F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper or grease with non-stick spray.
  2. Combine mix, milk, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder and cheese in medium size bowl wit wooden spoon until just combined.
  3. Scoop balls of dough onto baking sheet. Makes 9 biscuits.
  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
  5. While biscuits are baking melt butter and add remaining 1/4 teaspoon garlic. Brush tops of biscuits with melted butter when done baking. Garnish with finely chopped parsley, if using, before serving.
  6. Best served warm. Can store in refrigerator for 1-2 days. If freezing, do not add garlic butter until after thawed.
