1 cup Organic All Purpose Baking Mix
1 cup cornmeal
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter, melted, cooled slightly
1 large egg
1 cup milk, any kind
2 tablespoons honey


  1. Preheat oven to 400° F. Spray 8x8 pan with non-stick spray.
  2. Combine dry ingredients in large bowl then combine milk, butter, honey and egg separately. Add to dry ingredients and blend well.
  3. Bake 19-22 minutes until golden and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.


  • Jazz it up! Use this great cornbread to top your favorite chili or taco mixture and bake as directed. Finish with shredded cheese, sour cream and diced onions for a quick dinner!
