Cran-Apple Oatmeal Muffins


1-½ cups Namaste Foods No Sugar Added Muffin Mix
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1-½ cups GF quick cooking oats
1 tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 cup water
1 cup soft butter or margarine
1/3 cup raisins
½ cup craisins (dried cranberries)
½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
1-½ cups diced apple


  1. Heat oven to 350° F. Lightly spray muffin tin with non-stick spray or insert paper liners.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Fill muffin tins to top with batter.
  3. Bake 14 to 16 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.


  • May use shredded coconut in place of walnuts if desired.
