Nana's Gingerbread Cookies

3 cups Namaste Perfect Flour Blend or Namaste Organic Perfect Flour Blend
½ cup butter
½ cup sugar
½ cup light molasses
1-½ tsp. vinegar
1 egg
¼ tsp. salt
½ tsp. soda
½ tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. ginger


  1. Bring butter, sugar, molasses and vinegar to a boil in medium/large saucepan. Cool.
  2. Add egg. Then add dry ingredients. Dough will be slightly sticky. Refrigerate overnight to let flavors blend.
  3. Preheat oven to 375° F. Dough can be rolled out between two sheets of waxed paper. Bake on parchment paper. Good for gingerbread men, or any cut out.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
