Pumpkin Brownies
Makes a 9x13 pan
Ingredients
1 pkg. Namaste Brownie Mix, made according to directions on box
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup pumpkin (canned or cooked and mashed)
4 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Directions
- Bake the brownies according to package directions for a 9x13 pan, and allow to cool completely.
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, butter, and pumpkin until thoroughly combined and fluffy. Add the powdered sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg. Beat until smooth.
- Frost the brownies and sprinkle with mini chocolate chips and nuts, if desired. Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.
