Triple Berry Blast Trifle
Ingredients
For the cake:
1 package Namaste Foods Organic Yellow Cake Mix
1/3 cup oil or unsalted butter, melted
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk, any kind
For the whipped cream:
16 fl oz heavy whipping cream OR 1 container gluten free whipped topping (if using whipped topping disregard other additions)
1/2 cup powdered sugar or granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the berry mixture:
1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
1 cup fresh blueberries
1 cup fresh raspberries
Directions
- Prepare cake as directed on package. Allow to cool completely. Once cooled, cut into 1" cubes.
- Using a cold bowl and a high speed mixer, whip heavy cream, vanilla and sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Carefully combine berries.
- Place half of cake cubes in trifle dish. Add half of berries and half of whipped topping. Add remaining ingredients in same order.
- If using smaller containers, divide ingredients up into equal layers.
