Waffles

Ingredients
1-1/4 cups Namaste Perfect Flour Blend or Namaste Organic Perfect Flour Blend
1 tablespoon gluten free baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 eggs or Namaste Vegan Egg Replacer
1-1/4 cups milk, any kind
2 tablespoons melted butter or oil
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg or cinnamon (optional)
Directions
- Combine dry ingredients in large bowl.
- Whisk together wet ingredients in medium bowl.
- Add liquid ingredients to dry and combine well.
- Preheat waffle iron to medium heat. Add batter by 1/3 cupfuls into sprayed waffle iron. Cook until crispy and golden brown.
- Add more liquid as necessary if batter becomes to thick as it sits.
Notes
- Makes about 12 - 14 4" waffles. Waffles freeze well individually and can be warmed up in toaster.
